PLANS that were in place for the return of football supporters from the 1st of October are to be reviewed following an update from Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
The original plan was to allow a small percentage of Football supporters into stadiums at the start of October should pilot matches take place without an issue.
Unfortunately this now looks unlikely following a surge in Coronavirus cases around the country.

We must revise plans to pilot larger audiences in venues later this month and review our intention to return audiences to stadiums from 1 October.
But that doesn’t mean we are going to scrap the programme entirely.
We are just going to have to review it and abridge it.Prime Minister Boris Johnson
