SOUTHEND United return to League 2 action tomorrow evening when they travel to high flyers Morecambe in search of the three points that have eluded them so many times this season.
Following a dreadful 0-2 at home to Carlisle United over the weekend, the Shrimpers must do better and show they care what is happening to the club following what can only be described as a lackluster showing against Carlisle, a game in which many supporters expected the players to fight for the cause but instead received a smack in the face.
With Colchester playing on Monday against Barrow the Shrimpers will know what needs to be done to keep up with fellow relegation rivals Colchester. Should they fail to better or equal Colchesters result the Shrimpers will sit 8 points adrift of the ewes.Embed from Getty Images
