Southend Head North To Face FC Halifax Town This Saturday Afternoon

THE Shrimpers are back in action this weekend as they make the journey north to face FC Halifax Town at The Shay.

Phil Brown’s side will be looking to keep the positive momentum going forward following the 2-2 home draw against Wrexham last Saturday at Roots Hall in which the Shrimpers went from a commanding 2-0 lead to finishing the game all square at 2-2.

Nathan Ralph suffered a concussion against Wrexham last weekend but should be available for the trip to Halifax.

Abu Ogogo will not be available for this fixture as the player is recovering from a hamstring injury picked up against Stockport County a fortnight ago.
