IT’S unlucky number 7 for Southend as they fell to yet another consecutive defeat in the national league but this time at the hands of Dorking Wanderers yesterday evening.
A Seb Bowerman strike on the half an hour mark was enough to see the hosts take all three points in a game that saw the Shrimpers unable to mount any pressure at all.
In all honesty, Dorking could have beaten the Essex-based side by more than 3 goals but for returning Southend goalkeeper Colin Andeng-Ndi who kept his side in the competition with a number of excellent saves.
